We are hiring SC Cleared Observability Engineers Telemetry Consultants to support enterprise observability, monitoring and telemetry onboarding programmes across secure environments. This role is ideal for Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, Search Engineers, Software Engineers or Analytics Engineers looking to transition into enterprise AI search, semantic retrieval and modern search platform engineering.
You are not expected to be an Elastic expert from day one. We are specifically interested in transferable experience from technologies such as Splunk, OpenSearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, Microsoft Sentinel, Logstash, Fluent Bit, Cribl or similar tooling.
Key Responsibilities- Support telemetry onboarding across infrastructure, cloud, applications and platform environments
- Collect and ingest logs, metrics and traces from multiple enterprise systems
- Configure ingestion pipelines for parsing, filtering, enrichment and routing
- Build dashboards, alerts and operational monitoring views
- Validate data quality, timestamps, field mappings and source attribution
- Troubleshoot ingestion failures and telemetry visibility gaps
- Support operational runbooks and onboarding documentation
- Work alongside platform, operations and engineering teams across enterprise programmes
We are looking for professionals with experience in some of the following areas:
- Infrastructure Engineering
- DevOps or Platform Support
- Monitoring or Observability Platforms
- Linux or Windows Administration
- Cloud Infrastructure or Support Engineering
- Logging, Metrics or Telemetry Platforms
- Data ingestion tools, collectors or forwarders
- JSON, Syslog, XML, CSV or semi-structured data formats
- Basic scripting using Bash, Python or PowerShell
- Terraform, Ansible or automation tooling exposure
- Exposure to enterprise-scale observability and telemetry programmes
- Hands‑on experience working alongside Elastic
