We are hiring a Senior SAS Engineer/Consultant (Risk & Regulatory/UK banking).

Location: Hybrid 2 days per week in Birmingham.

Expert-level hands-on and design experience across SAS EG, SAS DI, Base SAS, and SAS Viya.

Own end-to-end technical design artifacts covering SAS EG, SAS DI, and SAS Viya environments.

Lead SAS platform upgrades and migrations, specifically moving Legacy environments to cloud-hosted SAS Viya.

Architect and build SAS solutions supporting RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets), EAD (Exposure at Default), capital calculations, and regulatory reporting.

Ensure all SAS implementations comply strictly with regulatory expectations and survive stringent audit scrutiny.

Design efficient SAS data processing flows optimized for massive, complex financial datasets.

Key Skills: SAS Data Integration Studio (DI), Base SAS/SAS Viya & Cloud Capability/SAS code structure, indexing, memory management, and scaling data flows.
