£18–£20/hr | Full-time (Monday to Friday, 2PM-8PM) 30 hours per week | Employed via Gingham Nanny Agency (ASAP start)

We are recruiting a compassionate and proactive specialist nanny to support a wonderful family in the New Forest. This is a unique opportunity for a nanny who wants to make a meaningful impact—not just in the lives of two children (aged 10 and 7), but within a wider team of professionals dedicated to their wellbeing. They are delightful children led by an incredibly inspirational mother who is now looking for an extra pair of hands, someone to share the load and also take some of the responsibility of ensuring that her children (when she needs some downtime) have the same level of care, love and guidance that she already provides. The children have experienced past trauma and a brain injury, and the role requires empathy, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit. An interest in Yoga, mindfulness and healthy eating would be an advantage.

Key Duties

  • Primary care for the 10-year-old (currently homeschooled)
  • Support with 7-year-old’s routines, including school pick-ups or after school club pick-ups
  • Plan and deliver engaging weekly activities
  • Prepare and support healthy meals
  • Light housekeeping and full holistic support to the family
  • Maintain nanny diary (training provided)
  • Occasional dog walking / dog care and errands

Hours

Monday to Friday, 2PM-8PM. Flexibility to work later or weekends when required.

Requirements

  • Driver with full, clean licence
  • Paediatric First Aid, enhanced DBS, and contactable references
  • Ofsted registration (or willingness—agency will organise and cover cost)
  • A nanny who thrives on an active lifestyle. The family love the outdoors and actively use the natural surroundings they have every day.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs, trauma, SEND or medical/therapeutic requirements is not essential as we can train you but would be an advantage.
  • A confident, proactive, calm personality with a positive can-do attitude and can maintain a high energetic approach to their day.

Benefits

  • Employed through Gingham Nanny Agency
  • Bespoke training in safeguarding, brain injury, and therapeutic care
  • Ongoing support from a highly experienced team
  • Placement surrounded by the beautiful New Forest National Park, close to the sea and on the forest edge
