A warm and welcoming family living in a rural village near Newmarket is seeking a calm, creative and reliable part-time nanny to support them from September 2026. The family has a delightful little girl who will be three in August and attends nursery. She enjoys dancing, swimming, reading, painting and creative play. The family is also expecting another baby girl at the end of August.
This will initially be a shared-care role, working alongside the parents, with some sole-charge care of the older child when required. The family spends approximately six months of each year in the UK, usually in blocks of around six weeks, so they are looking for someone flexible who is happy to provide support during the periods they are at home.

The role will include:
- Engaging the child in age-appropriate play, activities and outings
- Supporting the family following the arrival of the new baby
- Occasional sole-charge care of the older child
- Light household duties relating to the children
- Occasional babysitting
- Providing support during labour or a possible extended hospital stay
The ideal nanny will be:
- Calm, nurturing and dependable
- Creative, with an interest in art, music, books and educational activities
- Confident caring for a preschool-aged child
- Comfortable working alongside parents
- Flexible regarding days and hours
- A non-smoker
This is a live-out position. A driver is not essential. Exact days, hours and salary will be agreed with the successful candidate. Candidates must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
