You’ll work closely with a highly experienced senior team while taking real ownership of client accounts. If you’re a proactive team player with a strong track record in media relations, proactive pitching, and delivering results, we’d love to hear from you.

About Us

GingerMay is a multi-award-winning global agency delivering outstanding, integrated communications for some of the world’s most innovative B2B and technology brands. Our strategic counsel, creative thinking, and results-driven approach power success for clients across adtech, fintech, martech, and IT, and beyond.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering high-quality PR and communications programmes across a portfolio of B2B and technology clients. You’ll lead on media relations and proactive pitching, shape programme delivery, and provide confident day-to-day client management while supporting strategic planning. This is a hybrid role, based in London or Tunbridge Wells, and home.

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of PR and communications programmes.
  • Drive proactive media relations, including developing strong journalist relationships, pitching stories, securing coverage, and identifying reactive and newsjacking opportunities.
  • Lead or contribute to integrated campaign planning across PR, content, and digital channels.
  • Develop press materials, including press releases, comments, case studies, and thought leadership content.
  • Monitor media coverage and deliver clear, insight-led reporting on campaign performance.
  • Support and shape thought leadership and executive profiling programmes.
  • Provide confident day-to-day client management, working closely with Account Directors and senior leadership who lead strategic communications and client counsel.
  • Contribute to new business activity, including research, credentials, case studies, and pitch support.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation, media lists, and reporting materials.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, ensuring strong organisation, time tracking, and delivery standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven PR agency experience at Account Manager level (or an accomplished Senior Account Executive ready to step up), ideally within B2B or technology PR.
  • A solid track record of securing media coverage through proactive pitching and journalist relationship management.
  • Confident client handling skills, with the ability to lead day-to-day account activity.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a clear sense of ownership.
  • Genuine interest in media, current affairs, and the B2B/technology landscape.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid agency environment.
