About the Role
My client is looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join their small and friendly team. The role is primarily focused on the accurate processing, monitoring, and enforcement of fines and penalties, ensuring full compliance with legislation and maintaining precise records. You will provide clear, professional support to customers, and will also assist with other admin functions and support the Accounts Administrator as required. This role is suited to someone who works well independently and enjoys being part of a small supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and process fines and penalty notices accurately
- Maintain up-to-date records of fines, payments, and outstanding balances
- Handle enquiries regarding fines, payments, and appeals
- Set up and manage payment arrangements
- Liaise with enforcement agencies and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and data protection requirements
- Process approved refunds and adjustments
- Update and manage fine-related information using company systems
Skills & Experience Required
- Competent Excel and spreadsheet skills
- Excellent administrative and data entry abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently
- Capable of working with minimal supervision and using initiative
