We are seeking motivated individuals who love working in a fast paced environment! Now hiring cooks and chefs who can cook foods which are prepared to order as well as working on several different orders simultaneously. All cooks are involved in creating and the preparation of daily specials to a high quality and with presentation meeting Ginger and Pickles standards. You will also be required to clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.

Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently, meeting our high quality and presentation standards
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues
  • Complete all appropriate company documentation and key tasks, on every shift
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Be involved and contribute at team meetings
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team
  • Enthusiastic in expressing new ideas and be willing to voice them

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

  • Must be able to cook high quality breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & catering items.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and handle high volumes and fast paced environment
  • Must be organised and efficient when working busy line;
  • Must have PASSION & DRIVE for this position, and must be open to learning.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Experience cooking with a nutrient dense, farm to fork, seasonal & fresh ingredients is a plus.
  • Must be able to use all kitchen equipment, including grill, fryer, ovens etc.
  • Looking for someone who wants to grow with our company as the company continues to grow.

Minimum Experience required:

  • Must have at least 2 years kitchen experience or a passion for home cooking

Ideally, the successful candidate will be willing to travel to our other Cheshire locations (Tarporley and Byley) as needed.
