About the role:
Ginetta’s carbon shop is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our rapidly expanding team. As a Junior Finisher/Production Operative, you will be responsible for bonding, filling, and polishing carbon fibre parts for various race and road car projects, along with general workshop duties such as demoulding, mould maintenance, and kit cutting.
Responsibilities include:
- Flattening and polishing various composite components by hand and machine
- Preparing and bonding composite components
- Bonding and fixing fasteners
- Demoulding composite parts
- Maintaining moulds to a high standard
- Cutting and preparing core materials
- Collaborating with the autoclave technician to cut materials and create lamination kits
Candidate requirements:
- Great attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good dexterity and coordination
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and precise in work
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
- Good housekeeping and adherence to health and safety guidelines
- Preferably, understanding of hand and power tools, but full training will be provided
