Based in Leeds, Ginetta has been building British road and race cars since 1958. In 2005, the company was purchased by the LNT Group, which includes Healthcare, Construction, Chemicals, Automotive, and Software companies, under the guidance of Chairman and founder Lawrence Tomlinson. Since then, 'The British Motorsport Company' has experienced rapid expansion, increasing production for global exports, running multiple successful domestic championships, and expanding its supporting brands including Want2race, Blyton Park, and Sim Track.

About the role: Ginetta's carbon shop is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our rapidly expanding team. As a Junior Finisher/Production Operative, you will be responsible for bonding, filling, and polishing carbon fibre parts for various race and road car projects, along with general workshop duties such as demoulding, mould maintenance, and kit cutting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Flattening and polishing various composite components by hand and machine
  • Preparing and bonding composite components
  • Bonding and fixing fasteners
  • Demoulding composite parts
  • Maintaining moulds to a high standard
  • Cutting and preparing core materials
  • Collaborating with the autoclave technician to cut materials and create lamination kits

Candidate requirements:

  • Great attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good dexterity and coordination
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and precise in work
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Good housekeeping and adherence to health and safety guidelines
  • Preferably, understanding of hand and power tools, but full training will be provided
