LNT Holdings Ltd are looking for a Finance Apprentice to join the team. The Finance Apprentice will assist senior members of the team in the day-to-day finance activities. This will include supporting the Financial Controller to ensure that the Division maintains accurate financial records, financial transactions are promptly and accurately processed, and high-quality financial information is provided to the business in a timely manner. The role will also require building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as external clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce all sales invoices and sales orders in a timely manner
- Work closely with colleagues in the wider business to gather the information required for invoicing and payment terms agreed
- Ensuring that customer balances are paid on time by generating weekly statements and chasing outstanding debt in an appropriate manner
- Maintaining and reviewing of aged debtors reporting by producing an analysis of outstanding money and categorising them by outstanding periods
- Completion of daily bank reconciliations
- Be the first point of contact for the Finance team in respect of answering customer telephone and email queries
- Control over company credit card reconciliations, ensuring these are completed and signed off monthly
- Filing and administrative duties
- Ad-hoc administrative and transactional duties to assist the Financial Controller with some exposure to financial analytics supported by Finance Controller.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Knowledge of Sage 200 and Xero preferred
- Knowledge of Excel
- Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
- Able to prioritise work based on deadlines and importance
- Attention to detail in all aspects of role – consistently produces work to the highest standard
