Mental Health Nurses (RMNS) holding current UK NMC registration. Post-qualification experience is required and ideally demonstrable experience in the following specialisms:
- Forensic Mental Health
- Neuropsychiatry (assessment, treatment and rehabilitation)
- Rehabilitation
We are looking for nurses with a natural compassion and clinical experience to help deliver exceptional levels of patient care. An opportunity to provide our multi-disciplinary team with in-depth expertise and knowledge of the Mental Health and Mental Capacity Acts to make sure our patients get the highest level of care.
With no two days the same, you'll enjoy a wide range of responsibilities, from ensuring that care-plans are comprehensive to making sure that decisions from ward rounds are acted upon and, if necessary, incorporated into the care-plan. You'll also relish the opportunity to support our unique patients who have their own individualised care packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other therapy staff in therapeutic program review process.
- Collaborate in care planning discussions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure care-plans are reviewed, updated and actioned as required.
- Provide a link with outside agencies.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain working relationships with the Ward Matron and Deputy, Senior staff nurses, Nurses, HCAs, Ward Clerk, Housekeeping team, Junior Doctors, etc.
- Budget responsibilities.
