As a Chef de Partie, you will be an important part of the kitchen team, taking responsibility for your section during preparation and service and working closely with the senior chefs to ensure a consistently high standard of food.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays calm under pressure and is keen to develop their skills within a quality-led, chef-driven restaurant.
The Role You will:
Take responsibility for your section during preparation and service.
Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient services.
Maintain high standards of food quality, seasoning, presentation and portion control.
Ensure your section is clean, organised and fully prepared for service.
Support and guide Commis Chefs and more junior members of the team.
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team throughout preparation and service.
Help ensure dishes leave the kitchen accurately, consistently and on time.
Follow recipes, specifications and kitchen procedures carefully.
Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
Help minimise waste and use ingredients efficiently.
Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, organisation and food safety.
Follow HACCP and all food safety procedures.
Contribute to menu development, dish testing and the introduction of new dishes.
Support the wider kitchen team wherever required.
About You You will have previous experience working as a Chef de Partie in a busy, quality-led kitchen.
You should be:
Calm, organised and confident under pressure.
Passionate about food, hospitality and working with excellent produce.
Reliable, hardworking and able to take responsibility for your section.
A clear and respectful communicator.
Comfortable working as part of a close-knit kitchen team.
Keen to learn, develop and take on increasing responsibility.
Positive, practical and solutions-focused.
Consistent in your approach and proud of the food you produce.
Knowledgeable about food safety and HACCP.
We are looking for someone who takes genuine ownership of their section, leads by example and wants to continue developing their career in an ambitious independent restaurant.
What We Offer In return, you will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced chef-led team, learn from a supportive kitchen environment and develop your skills across a seasonal, produce-led menu.
