Job Description
As an Adult Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to adults who require assistance due to age, illness, disability, or other health conditions. Your role is to help individuals maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life within their own homes or supported environments.
Duties may include assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, and emotional support. You will follow individual care plans, accurately record observations, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
You must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and respect for confidentiality. The role may involve working with vulnerable adults, so a strong understanding of safeguarding and compliance with care standards is essential.
