The HR Advisor provides professional support and guidance to managers and employees across all aspects of HR, including employee relations, performance, recruitment, and policy application. The role ensures compliance with employment law, promotes best practice, and contributes to a positive workplace culture. Acting as a trusted point of contact, the HR Advisor supports day-to-day operations and HR projects to help deliver the organisation\’s people strategy.

Responsibilities

  • General HR & Payroll Administration.
  • Update and maintain HR information system with new starters, leavers, holidays, sickness etc.
  • Managing HR inbox.
  • Providing New Starter pre-boarding coordination.
  • Prepare employee paperwork such as offer, contract and change letters etc.
  • Learning and Development coordination & support.
  • Company benefits administration.
  • Assisting with the monthly company newsletter.
  • Assisting and coordina8ting staff Social Activities.
  • Organising meetings and taking minutes.
  • Generating various HR reports.
  • Service Award report and coordination.
  • Covering the Reception desk when required.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it.
  • Minimum 3 years\’ experience working in a HR role.
  • Knowledge of UK Employment Law.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in advising managers on employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence).
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Excellent administration & multitasking skills.
  • Be approachable and highly organised.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel.
