We are expanding across Europe and are looking to hire a Sales Manager with strong knowledge of their local banking market, a solid industry network, and a proven ability to generate new business. Your focus will be on building Gimi’s presence in key regions such as CEE, DACH, Iberia, the UK, and beyond. This is a unique opportunity where, looking back, you will proudly be able to say that you opened an entirely new market for Gimi – with full support from the team, but as the key driver of the expansion.

Your Responsibilities

  • Open new markets, lead the way in building Gimi’s presence in your country/region
  • Prospecting & lead generation. Identify and engage banking partners through networking, referrals and proactive outreach
  • Relationship management: Develop strong partnerships with new and existing clients, understanding needs and solving pain points
  • Sales cycle ownership: Drive the process from first contact to closing, supported by our negotiation team
  • Stay on top of trends, competitors and customer needs in your local banking industry
  • Represent Gimi at events and conferences, strengthening our presence in your region
  • Share learnings and support colleagues across markets to accelerate growth

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ sales experience with banks/enterprise accounts in fintech, payments or financial services
  • Strong network in the banking sector in either Poland, Germany, Southern Europe or France
  • Fluent in English and your local market language (Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese)
  • Track record of building long‑term, high‑value partnerships
  • Comfortable with travel and hybrid sales (mix of in‑person and virtual)
  • Self‑driven, resilient and motivated to succeed in long, complex sales cycles
