About the Role

As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you’ll engage with customers across various industry segments to prospect, qualify, and close opportunities within your assigned territory (Germany). You’ll promote and sell Manual Liquid Handling Service sales via phone, email, and social selling platforms, while building strong consultative relationships. This is a hybrid role based in Dunstable, UK, requiring up to 3 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets for volume, product mix, and new product awareness.
  • Prospect new business and follow up on qualified leads from marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct proactive outreach via calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Create quotations and pricing agreements.
  • Provide online demos and technical support to customers.
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of territory trends and competitor activity.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Life Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ year of sales experience, ideally in life sciences or lab environments.
  • Strong phone presence and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements

  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% overnight.
  • Experience with Gilson products or capital equipment sales is a plus.
