Our Team
We are looking to hire a highly driven, self-sufficient Paralegal/Conveyancer to join one of our successful Residential Conveyancing departments in London. We are an enthusiastic team that support each other in order to achieve a great working environment. The Role
We are looking to further strengthen our Residential Conveyancing team with the appointment of a Paralegal/Conveyancer based in our London office. You’ll be responsible for:
- Communicating with clients on a daily basis, dealing with matters over the phone, email or in person
- Updating branches and building relationships with our referrers
- Updating and maintaining a case management system
- Sending quotes and letters of instruction
- Ordering searches
- Liaising with other parties solicitors, brokers and estate agents
- Managing property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, New build and Shared ownership transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity from inception until post completion
- Updating clients on progress of matter
- Checking mortgage offers and searches
- Title checking and reporting to clients
- Raising and signing off the enquiries
- Maintaining and checking Due Diligence and Risk Assessments in line with the firms’ policies
- Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and data protection regulations
- Exchanging contracts and completing the transaction
