Gilson Gray’s Financial Management team is part of Gilson Gray’s continuously growing organization. Gilson Gray Financial Management Ltd is a comprehensive wealth management practice within the wider Gilson Gray group, which also offers expert legal advice, estate agency services, and lettings. We support clients throughout their entire lifetime. The Financial Management team has decades of experience advising clients at all stages of life and can advise on all financial investments.

Based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Forfar, North Berwick, Lincoln, and London, we focus on providing the highest level of advice and ongoing service to our clients. We are ambitious and have significantly grown the team over the past year. We pride ourselves on looking after our clients personally and delivering the utmost standard of service.

We are looking to hire a highly driven Financial Adviser to join our successful Wealth Management team.

The Role

We aim to strengthen our current team with the appointment of an experienced candidate.

As a Financial Adviser at Gilson Gray, you will be responsible for:

  • Talking to clients to determine their expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial objectives, tax status, risk tolerance, or other necessary information to develop a financial plan.
  • Advising on strategies related to insurance coverage, investment planning, cash management, and other areas to help clients reach their financial goals.
  • Reviewing client accounts and plans regularly to assess if life changes, economic conditions, or financial performance require adjustments.
  • Preparing or interpreting financial documents, investment performance reports, and income projections for clients.
  • Building and maintaining your client base.
  • Providing clients with advice and guidance on lending, mortgage, investment, and insurance products.
  • Establishing clients\’ future needs and tailoring advice and services accordingly.
  • Offering sound advice on the best options to safeguard clients\’ financial assets.
