We are looking to hire a highly driven Legal Administrator/Secretary to join our successful Private Client team on a fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave, based in Edinburgh. We are an enthusiastic team that support each other to achieve a great working environment. The Role
As a Legal Administrator/Secretary at Gilson Gray you will be responsible for:
- Liaising with internal and external clients by email, telephone and face to face.
- Opening and closing client files.
- Carrying out client identity checks.
- Preparing and amending documents.
- Dictation and audio typing.
- Assisting with general administrative duties.
- Diary management.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work deadlines.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- You will have the ability to develop strong working relationships within the team as well as communicate concisely both verbally and in writing with both internal and external clients.
- A calm, helpful and professional approach.
- IT competent, particularly with reference to the use of Word and Excel.
