This includes supporting residents with a range of needs across nursing, residential and dementia care. The role is both clinical and practical. This includes administering medication, completing and reviewing care plans, monitoring changes in residents’ physical and mental health and ensuring care is delivered in line with agreed standards.

Staff Nurses work closely with the wider team throughout the shift, supporting care staff, sharing information and helping to maintain a consistent and organised approach to care. The ability to make sound clinical decisions and respond appropriately to changing needs is essential.

There is also regular interaction with families and external professionals, ensuring communication is clear, accurate and professional at all times.
