We are recruiting an experienced Full Multi Trader that can carry out carpentry works including locks and windows, plumbing, basic electrics (like-for-like), patch plastering, tiling with painting and decorating skills. The ideal trades person will have worked in social housing.
The job requires working between 8am to 5pm every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, including whenever these days fall on public holidays. This will include coverage for Emergency Call-Outs (ECOs).
Gilmartins is a family owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a hands-on understanding of the work we do. We work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.
The role is to:
- Carry out property repairs and maintenance works in social housing
- Follow the Scope of Works on the PDA for each job
Requirements for the job:
- Full valid UK manual driving licence (not EU or automatic licence)
- Own tools
- Experience of working in social housing preferred
- DBS certificate
- Available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday every week including when these days fall on public holidays
