Houghton Regis | Full-Time | Office-Based We are looking for an experienced and organised Repairs Booker to join our busy social housing maintenance team in Houghton Regis. This is a fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for managing a high-volume inbox, making outbound calls to tenants, and scheduling maintenance appointments for our engineers. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy environment, be highly organised, and have excellent customer service skills. Main Responsibilities Managing a busy shared inbox and responding to customer enquiries Making high volumes of outbound calls to tenants Scheduling and booking maintenance repairs for engineers Rearranging appointments and updating repair records as required Ensuring all jobs are accurately logged on the company system Liaising with tenants, engineers and clients to ensure appointments are completed efficiently Providing excellent customer service at all times Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience in a Repairs Booker, Scheduler, Planner or Customer Service role Experience working within social housing, repairs or property maintenance is highly desirable Excellent telephone manner and communication skills Strong administration and organisational skills Ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment Good IT skills and attention to detail Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Required to work until 6:00pm on a rota basis One Saturday or Sunday per month Additional hours paid at standard hourly rate Benefits Career development opportunities Employee Assistance Programme Free personal trainer group sessions every Thursday Christmas hamper Supportive and friendly working environment Ideal backgrounds: Repairs Booker, Repairs Planner, Maintenance Scheduler, Housing Repairs Coordinator, Service Administrator, Customer Service Advisor or Appointment Booker.
