We are recruiting an experienced Multi Trader that can carry out Carpentry, Plumbing, basic Electrics (like-for-like), Patch Plastering, Tiling with Painting and Decorating skills. Gilmartins works in social housing and provides reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations. The job requires work and travel in Oxford and surrounding areas, with travel up to one hour and a half required. Gilmartins is a family-owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves, so have a hands-on understanding of the work we do.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will perform trades including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work, patch plastering, tiling, and painting and decorating in reactive repairs for social housing properties.
- Travel to Oxford and surrounding areas and local authorities as required.
Requirements:
- Full manual driving license (not automatic licence)
- Own tools
- Fully qualified and able to provide copies of certificates
- DBS certificate
- ECS card - ideally
