We’re looking for an experienced Roofing Supervisor / Surveyor / Site Manager to oversee roofing works across multiple locations in London & Home Counties. This is a hybrid role with a mix of on-site supervision and surveying and office-based work. Flexibility is key as days on-site and in office will vary each week. You’ll be travelling between sites, checking quality, surveying works, supporting operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring jobs are correctly recorded and progressed on the system.
The purpose of the role is to ensure roofing works are delivered safely, to standard, and right first time. You’ll act as the link between site delivery and the office, making sure surveys, variations, photos, and job updates are captured properly and coded correctly. You’ll be trusted to work independently, manage your own workload, and travel across multiple sites as required.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out site visits to inspect and supervise roofing works
- Surveying roofing repairs and replacements and specifying required works
- Managing operatives and subcontractors on site
- Ensuring works meet quality, safety, and contractual standards
- Identifying additional works and variations where required
- Accurately coding works and updating job records on the system
- Uploading photos, survey notes, and completion details
- Liaising with schedulers, supervisors, and office teams
- Attending the office for planning, reporting, and reviews
- Travelling regularly between sites across the operating area
- Strong background in roofing (supervisory, surveying, or site management)
- Experience working in domestic or social housing environments
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and job management systems
- Ability to accurately code works, complete reports, and maintain records
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London & Home Counties
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
