Join to apply for the Commercial Administrator role at Gilmartins. We are recruiting for a Commercial Administrator to work in our Head Office in Houghton Regis. Gilmartins is a family-owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within. We work in social housing and provide Reactive Repairs, Planned Works and Void refurbishments for local authorities and housing associations.
The Role
The purpose is to perform operational reviews of each job/project to check quality of workmanship (per trade) and correct Schedule of Rates applied to each task/job with the aim of controlling and maximising the company’s profitability.
Duties To Include
- Checking SOR (schedule of rate) codes applied correctly and adding additional codes where applicable
- Analysing time/cost of each job/project for accuracy
- Reviewing photos for quality
Requirements For Job
- Construction or QS related degree would be beneficial or experience of working in built environment/planned works or repairs
- Experience of working in social housing would be an advantage

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. This role also requires working 1 Saturday or Sunday each month. Extra hours are paid at standard rate in addition to salary.
