Time Served Plater Welder
Required on a permanent basis.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm (overtime available).
Applicants must be fully skilled in all aspects of manufacturing from light to heavy fabrications, ranging from 2mm to 30mm wall thickness.
The suitable Plater Welder must be accustomed to reading engineering drawings and working with stainless steel and carbon steel, using MIG, Stick or TIG.
Skills and Qualifications
- Apprentice trained – ideally.
- Strong fabricator with MIG, Stick & TIG fabrication processes to a coded standard.
- Fabrication of various materials such as stainless and carbon steel.
- Working with various sizes of material ranging from 2mm to 30mm.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard of workmanship.
- Must be able to read & work from engineering drawings.
- Good H&S awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Full UK driving licence.
- Availability for overtime if necessary.
