We’re currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Keighley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys combining hands-on accounting responsibilities with strategic business support. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving business performance, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making across the organisation. Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Analyse business performance and provide meaningful financial insights
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and cashflow projections
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance
- Reconcile sales, cost of sales and balance sheet accounts
- Oversee supplier payments and statutory payment processes
- Support payroll administration and related financial activities
- Partner with department managers to provide financial guidance and support
- Assist with stock takes, stock valuation and costing analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting
- Provide support, guidance and mentoring to colleagues where required
About You
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
- Strong financial reporting and management accounting expertise
- Experience producing budgets, forecasts and cashflow reports
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of payroll processes and financial controls
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
- Proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
