We're currently recruiting for a Residential Manager on behalf of a well-established residential care home based in Wheatley Hill, Durham.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care, leading and developing a dedicated team, and creating a safe, supportive environment where residents can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the residential care home, ensuring high-quality care and support is delivered at all times
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, health and safety requirements, and relevant legislation
  • Develop, implement and monitor personalised care plans that promote dignity, independence and choice
  • Oversee medication management and ensure clinical procedures are followed appropriately
  • Lead, motivate and develop the care team to achieve exceptional standards of care
  • Manage recruitment, training, supervision and performance management processes
  • Coordinate staff rotas to ensure effective staffing levels and operational efficiency
  • Monitor budgets, occupancy levels and overall financial performance of the service
  • Support strategic decisions that contribute to the growth and reputation of the home
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders
