This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality residential care and support for autistic and neurodivergent children.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership, compliance, and day-to-day management of the residential home. You will lead and support a team of residential care staff while ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, care, and wellbeing are delivered to the children within the service. You will also play an important role in building a positive team culture and ensuring the service meets all regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the Registered Manager for the residential home.
  • Leading, supporting and developing the residential care team.
  • Ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance.
  • Supporting children to access education, activities and community opportunities.
  • Working closely with families, social workers and external professionals.
  • Managing staff supervision, performance and training.
  • Supporting regulatory inspections and maintaining service quality.

About You

  • Significant experience within Children’s Residential Care.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years.
  • At least 1 year supervising staff in a care environment.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and residential care regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
