We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation within the construction sector for an experienced Management Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to play a key role in supporting business performance, financial planning, and strategic decision-making.
Working closely with senior leadership and the Finance Controller, you'll provide accurate financial insight, drive continuous improvement, and help support the organisation's ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets and forecasts
- Provide meaningful financial analysis and commentary to support business decisions
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management processes
- Undertake financial administration, reconciliations and internal audits
- Assist with external audits and respond to audit queries
- Work closely with managers across the business to provide financial insight and support
- Develop and improve financial systems, controls and reporting processes
- Monitor income and expenditure against budgets and highlight variances
- Support and mentor junior members of the finance team
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Maintain accurate financial records and compliance with company procedures
About You
- Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant
- Previous experience within a Management Accountant role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Experience preparing management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Construction industry experience would be highly advantageous
- Proactive, organised and committed to continuous improvement
