Gillespie Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a leading Well-Established Food Retailer. As part of their expansion, they’re recruiting a Butcher to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Be a hands-on Butcher supporting the delivery of daily performance targets and orders.
- Examine the quality of finished product to ensure it meets the required standard.
- Wear PPE correctly, including ear protection.
- Support your area in delivering key performance targets by paying close attention to detail and following procedures.
- Act as a role model and lead by example, demonstrating core company values, behaviours and high-performance standards.
Key Criteria
- Experience of butchery of multi-species.
- Able to plan the day and deliver key targets in your area.
- Positive, flexible and hardworking with a passionate commitment to quality.
- Support the delivery of all orders and key performance targets in your area and ensure attention to detail and that procedures are followed.
- Good manual dexterity, good eye and hand coordination, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to carry out the physical tasks reasonably required.
- Able to work within a team and independently.
- Ability to work to deadlines and follow instructions and procedures accurately and consistently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with all tasks.
- Experience of working within a factory environment and within food manufacturing.
