Today, we’re a global brand, distributed in more than 35 countries, with an ambitious vision for continued growth. As we continue to evolve, we’re looking for talented people who share our passion for life on the water and want to help shape the next chapter of the Gill story.
Purpose of the Role: We’re looking for a Digital Content Manager to lead the planning, creation and delivery of Gill’s digital content across our global channels. Working across Marketing and Ecommerce, you’ll shape how the Gill brand comes to life through seasonal campaigns, product launches, ambassador activations and compelling storytelling that strengthens our brand, engages our community and supports commercial growth. This is a hands‑on role for someone who combines creativity with commercial awareness. You’ll lead content strategy and planning, oversee content production, collaborate with photographers, videographers and ambassadors, and ensure every digital touchpoint delivers a premium, consistent brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Content & Storytelling: Own Gill’s digital content calendar, planning seasonal campaigns, product launches and brand storytelling across all digital channels. Lead the development of creative concepts and content ideas, working closely with photographers, videographers and the wider marketing team to produce engaging, high‑quality content across photography, video and digital. Manage the planning and delivery of content creation, supporting campaign shoots and ensuring assets are captured to maximise value across multiple channels. Develop authentic content that showcases Gill’s products, ambassadors, partners and community, bringing the brand to life through meaningful storytelling. Act as the guardian of Gill’s digital brand standards, ensuring all content maintains a consistent premium look, feel and tone of voice across every platform.
- Digital Channels: Manage Gill’s global social media channels, driving audience growth, engagement and community management. Work closely with the Ecommerce team to ensure the website accurately reflects seasonal campaigns, product launches and brand priorities through engaging homepage content, landing pages and supporting digital assets. Collaborate closely with the Ecommerce team on email campaigns, providing campaign messaging, copy and creative assets while ensuring alignment with wider marketing activity. Support key retail partners by delivering digital assets that strengthen Gill’s online brand presence and create a consistent customer experience. Maintain and continually develop Gill’s digital asset library, ensuring photography, video and campaign assets are organised, accessible and effectively managed for global teams and partners.
- Campaign Delivery & Collaboration: Lead the digital delivery of seasonal campaigns, coordinating content across social media, website, retail partners and other owned channels. Work closely with Gill ambassadors, athletes and partners to plan content activations that support product launches, campaigns and brand storytelling. Coordinate ambassador content requirements, ensuring assets are delivered on time and aligned with campaign objectives. Work closely with Product, Ecommerce, Trade Marketing, Creative and regional teams to ensure campaigns launch successfully and on time. Manage relationships with photographers, videographers, content creators and external agencies where required. Identify opportunities to maximise the value of campaign assets across multiple digital platforms and audiences.
- Performance & Insight: Monitor and report on digital performance across social media, website and campaign activity, providing clear recommendations to improve future performance. Analyse customer engagement and digital trends to optimise content and campaign effectiveness. Stay up to date with emerging digital platforms, technologies and best practice, identifying opportunities to keep Gill at the forefront of digital communications. Share performance updates and key insights with stakeholders across the business to support informed decision making.
