We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Inspector to join our client, a busy engineering and manufacturing company based in Witney. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in ensuring product quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and managing calibration activities.
What You'll Do:
- Inspect incoming materials and assemblies against drawings and specs.
- Raise and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Carry out patrol inspections across Production and Assembly areas.
- Manage calibration of all measurement equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean).
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in manufacturing or inspection environments.
- Knowledge of quality procedures including current ISO Standards.
- Skilled with metrology tools (callipers, micrometres, height gauges, pin gauges).
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong IT and administrative skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a great team player.
Desirable:
- ERP experience (SAP)
- CMM/Shadowgraph exposure
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- UK driving licence
