We are currently sourcing a Warehouse / Customer Service Assistant to join our client’s team at a company near Witney.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role combining warehouse and customer service duties.

Responsibilities as a Warehouse / Customer Service Assistant

  • Handling incoming and outgoing goods
  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Checking stock levels and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
  • Processing customer orders and enquiries
  • Responding to customer queries by phone and email
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Preparing paperwork and updating systems
  • Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean, tidy and organised
  • Following company health and safety procedures
  • Supporting the wider team with general duties as required

Skills required as a Warehouse / Customer Service Assistant

  • Previous warehouse and/or customer service experience is beneficial
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual
  • Good computer skills
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Own transport is essential due to the location
