Due to continued demand and ongoing growth, they are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their well-established team at their Markham Vale site. The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse and production operation. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, helping to ensure customer orders and stock are processed accurately, efficiently and to the required quality standards. The role is varied, with the opportunity to work across different projects and tasks throughout the day. No two days are necessarily the same, making this a good opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and working as part of a busy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out re-work activities to ensure stock is correctly prepared and ready for dispatch.
  • Pick and pack products accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete case packing in line with individual project and customer requirements.
  • Check products and packaging to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
  • Assist with the movement and handling of stock within the warehouse.
  • Work across a variety of projects and tasks as required by the operation.
  • Follow all company processes, procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily targets and deadlines.
  • Report any quality, stock or operational issues to the appropriate team member.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are reliable, hardworking and keen to get stuck in. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but it is not essential as full training will be provided.

You will ideally have:

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work across different projects and duties.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
