HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class one Drivers required. Our well-known client based in Solihull are urgently seeking HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class one Drivers for an immediate start.

As a HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class one Driver, your duties will include:

  • Start times between 0400 and 0600
  • Anything from trunking up to 5 store deliveries per shift
  • Delivering chilled, frozen and ambient goods
  • All loads are palletised; however, there will be a large element of handball involved using a manual pump truck
  • Driving a box-sided vehicle

The ideal HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class one Driver will have the following:

  • A valid GV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class one driving licence
  • A valid and in-date driver CPC card
  • A valid and in-date digital tachograph card
  • A minimum of 12 months HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class one experience

In return, as a HGV1/LGV1/Category C+E/Class one driver, you can expect the following:

  • An hourly pay rate between £22.41 per hour to £25.07 per hour (This is an assignment rate and is inclusive of holiday pay; we are also able to offer accrued holiday if required)
  • Weekly pay
  • Regular and ongoing work on offer
  • Local branch presence
