Due to continued growth, we’re supporting our client in recruiting Business Development Executives / Appointment Setters to join their friendly and successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for confident, ambitious communicators who enjoy speaking to people, building relationships and creating new business opportunities. No previous telemarketing experience is essential. If you have experience in customer service, telesales, retail, hospitality, recruitment or another customer-facing environment, your skills could transfer extremely well into this role.
About the Role
As a Business Development Executive / Appointment Setter, you will play an important role in helping our client's customers generate new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Speaking with senior decision-makers across a range of industries
- Introducing clients to relevant products and services
- Identifying potential opportunities and gathering qualifying information
- Booking high-quality appointments for clients' sales teams
- Accurately recording information and updating CRM systems
- Building positive and professional relationships with prospective customers
- Representing our client's brands professionally at all times
What Our Client Is Looking For
We’re looking for people who are confident, personable and motivated, with a genuine enjoyment of communicating with others. You’ll ideally have:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Confidence speaking to people over the telephone
- A positive and professional attitude
- Strong listening and questioning skills
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to work towards targets and enjoy achieving results
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, telemarketing or call handling is advantageous, but not essential
Our client is happy to consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Personality, attitude and communication skills are just as important as previous experience.

- Flexible working options from 16–40 hours per week
