Our client based in Rugby, Warwickshire, are urgently seeking a HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class2 driver on a temp to perm basis.

As a HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class2 driver, your duties will include:

  • Driving either a curtain or box sided vehicle
  • Carrying out palletised deliveries of general haulage across the Bedford/Milton Keynes area as well as collections from the Northampton/Rugby area
  • Maximum 11 drops per shift
  • There may be occasions where you have to drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle but you will still be paid the same wage
  • There will be an element of handball involved

The ideal HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 driver will have the following:

  • A valid HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class2 driving licence
  • A valid driver CPC card
  • A valid digital tachograph card
  • 12 months HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class2 experience

For the successful HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class2 Driver you can expect the following:

  • Basic salary of £32,400 per annum
  • Free onsite parking
  • 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays
  • A permanent vacancy subject to passing a 10 week temp to perm period
