We are looking for a hard working Machine Operator for our client in Leicester LE3 on an ongoing temporary contract. As a Machine Operator you will support the production team. This role works alongside a fully trained Machine Operator, helping to maximise machine throughput and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and accurately.
Pay: £12.71PH
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00 - 15:00, Friday 7:00 to 14:00
The Role:
- Supporting the Machine Operator during production runs
- Hopper filling and maintaining continuous machine operation
- Assisting with the smooth running of machinery
- Checking materials and output for quality and accuracy
- Ensuring work is completed to production deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Machine Operator or Supervisor
Skills & Experience Required:
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable standing and moving for the duration of the shift
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures carefully
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operative experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
