We are looking for reliable, hardworking and physically fit Production Operatives to join the team at Syston. This is a hands-on role where you will be working as part of a busy production team. Full training will be provided, so previous manufacturing experience is useful but not essential.
What you'll be doing:
- Operating production machinery after training
- Packing and boxing products
- Checking products to make sure they meet quality standards
- Completing basic production and quality paperwork
- Moving materials using manual pallet trucks
- Keeping the production area clean, tidy and safe
- Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Supporting different areas of production when required
- Using a computer system to record basic production and stock information
What we're looking for:
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Hardworking with good timekeeping
- Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
- Able to carry out repetitive tasks and work at pace
- Good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and company procedures
- Comfortable working as part of a team

- Previous manufacturing or production experience is an advantage, but not essential.
- A forklift licence or previous forklift experience would also be an advantage but is not essential.
