FOUNDRY OPERATIVES – LEICESTER The Recruitment Group is currently recruiting Foundry Operatives for a well-established foundry based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who are looking to join a busy manufacturing environment, with full training provided. No previous foundry experience? No problem! If you have a good work ethic, a positive attitude and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you! The Role As a Foundry Operative, your duties may include: Assisting with the production and casting of metal components. Operating machinery and equipment safely. Handling and moving materials within the foundry. Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment. Following all health and safety procedures. Working as part of a team to meet production targets. Working Hours Training Shift – Days Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00 £12.71 per hour Once Fully Trained – Night Shift Monday to Thursday 18:00 – 06:00 Please note: You will initially be required to train on day shifts before moving onto the permanent night shift pattern. What We're Looking For A reliable and hardworking attitude. Good attention to detail. The ability to work in a physically demanding, industrial environment. A willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions. A strong commitment to health and safety. Previous manufacturing or foundry experience is beneficial but not essential. Interested?
