Location: Markham Vale S44 Area

Salary: £14.01 per hour

Shift Pattern: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (Weekly Rotating) - Monday to Friday

About Us

Our client works with some of the UK's best-known brands to provide cost-effective and innovative co‑packing, co‑filling, and co‑manufacturing solutions and is currently looking for a Planning Coordinator to join their well-established team.

The Role

The Planning Coordinator will work closely with the Production Manager, Operations Team, and Warehouse Team. The MPC will be responsible for ordering and scheduling materials both for short‑term and long‑term production needs, ensuring stock levels on‑site are aligned with warehouse capacity.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for factory in relation to materials availability for short and long term plans
  • Co‑ordinate the schedule of all materials to site to deliver the plan
  • Work closely with the Production Scheduler on a daily basis to ensure materials arrived on site and were available for Production in line with customer deadlines
  • Smooth planning of inbound stock and vehicles within the capacity of the site
  • Utilise the MRP system to convert customer demand, material orders and deliveries into purchase orders (Vision and Globe SAP)
  • Ensure that scheduled delivery dates are kept updated and accurate in both systems (Vision, Globe SAP)
  • Liaise with our customer and suppliers regarding non‑conforming deliveries
  • Administer material data through IPS and Customer systems
  • Escalate any materials issues to the Site Planning Manager
  • Be a role model for others at all times and demonstrate the IPS behaviours

  • Material Availability for plans

  • Maintaining accurate data in systems
