Food Production Operative Location: Castle Donington Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30 Contract: Temporary ongoing The Role We are recruiting experienced Food Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in Castle Donington. The successful candidates will have previous experience working within food production and understand the importance of maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality and safety in a production setting. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in the preparation, handling, packing and quality checking of food products while working as part of a productive team. Key Responsibilities Carry out food production duties in line with daily production requirements. Prepare, weigh, portion and assemble food products. Follow recipes, specifications and production instructions accurately. Pack and label finished products correctly. Complete quality checks throughout the production process. Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Keep production areas clean, tidy and organised. Work efficiently to meet daily production targets. Report any quality, food safety or production issues to the relevant supervisor. About You We are looking for candidates who have: Previous experience working in a food production environment. A good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices. Experience working to production targets and deadlines. Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality. The ability to follow instructions and production specifications. A reliable and hardworking approach. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good attendance and punctuality. Experience within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment would be particularly beneficial. What We Offer £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday working pattern. 07:30–16:30 shifts.
