Reporting to the Estimating Manager, as the Electrical Estimator you'll collaborate and maintain communications with our on-site engineers, managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure the necessary resources are provided to complete a wide range of installations. This is a varied role, with predominantly estimating duties including:
- Collaborating with our estimating team in preparing electrical estimates of values up to £1.5M
- Collaborating with our clients to prepare tenders for electrical installations
- Ensuring tenders are prepared to a high standard
- Obtaining competitive and accurate quotations from our supply chain whilst maintaining compliance
- Carrying out estimates using electronic packages
- Developing working relationships with design consultants, main contractors, and clients
This position is based at our offices in Nantwich, with occasional site visits required.
Our Requirements
- Experience gained in a similar role as an Electrical Estimator preferable, although applications are welcome from Trainee Estimators looking for the next step in their career
- Electrical industry knowledge, with good working knowledge of electrical building services installations
- Experience in mechanical estimating would be advantageous
- Ability to read and understand electrical plans and drawings
- Good IT skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superb attention to detail, with drive to succeed and work well in a fast-paced environment
- A full UK driving licence
- Although not essential, experience working with Estim8 Xtreme Software, and CYPHER1 estimating packages would be advantageous

- Salary up to £45,000 per annum with the level dependent on experience
