Gilfresh Produce Ltd is seeking to recruit an
Account Executive - Graduate to join our Commercial Department within our fast-growing FMCG family business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting sales success and assisting with day to day management of key accounts to support our vision of being a leader in the field of fresh quality produce.
- Working Hours : Mon to Fri - 8am to 4.30pm
- Department : Commercial Department
- Reports To : Head of Commercial Trading
The successful candidate will work within our 3 pillars of People, Planet and Prosperity.
The Role
- People
- Act as the vital link between clients and internal departments.
You will facilitate transparent, effective communication to ensure all team members are aligned on goals, deadlines, and any changes impacting production or supply.
- Work collaboratively within the Sales department to deliver continued commercial success for Gilfresh Produce.
- Support with the day-to-day coordination of customer accounts in collaboration with the Head of the Dept and the Account Manager.
- Planet
- Ensure that all customer feedback is communicated to the wider team effectively and efficiently.
- Support with the organisation of on-site and off-site customer visits.
- Work collaboratively with the procurement and wider sales team to coordinate seasonal product changeovers within your assigned accounts to ensure a smooth transition for both Gilfresh and our customers.
- Prosperity
- Ensure that any new lines starting are set up on the internal ERP system, bills of materials are created and relevant departments are informed of any changes.
- Coordinate the weekly customer updates and communicate to the business.
- Use customer portals to run forecasts and circulate internally.
- Help to coordinate sample requests from customers and ensure they are delivered on time.
- Support with any New Product Development (NPD) requests from customers.
- Carry out benchmarking on a regular basis and ensure that the information is recorded and communicated.
- To support the Head of Department and Account Manager in achieving the annual sales forecast and feed into the annual budget planning based on the knowledge you will gain on your accounts through your day to day dealings.
- Support on annual account reviews and work with the Head of Department and Account Manager to help develop plans for growth based on the knowledge gained from your day to day knowledge of the accounts.
- The Person
- Degree-level education or equivalent relevant professional qualifications.
- Detail Orientated - good attention to detail.
- Proficient in excel and comfortable with detailing with prices and numbers.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, managing conflicting deadlines and priorities.
- Impactful communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- A problem-solver who is enthusiastic, committed, and possesses both humility and a strong professional will.
- A full clean driving license is essential for travel to customer sites and exhibitions.
- Desirable - an interest in NPD.
- Previous experience in a food/FMCG/customer facing role would be desired but not essential.
