Gilfresh Produce Ltd is seeking to recruit an Account Executive - Graduate to join its Commercial Department within its fast-growing FMCG family business. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting sales success and assisting with the day-to-day management of key accounts to support the vision of being a leader in the field of fresh quality produce.

Working Hours: Mon to Fri - 8am to 4.30pm

Department: Commercial Department

Reports To: Head of Commercial Trading

Responsible For: No direct reports

Salary: £30,000

The successful candidate will work within the three pillars of People, Planet and Prosperity.

The Role
  • People: Act as the vital link between clients and internal departments, facilitating transparent and effective communication to ensure all team members are aligned on goals, deadlines and any changes impacting production or supply. Work collaboratively within the Sales department to deliver continued commercial success for Gilfresh Produce. Support the day-to-day coordination of customer accounts in collaboration with the Head of Department and the Account Manager.
  • Planet: Ensure that all customer feedback is communicated to the wider team effectively and efficiently. Support the organisation of on-site and off-site customer visits. Work collaboratively with the procurement and wider sales team to coordinate seasonal product changeovers within assigned accounts, ensuring a smooth transition for both Gilfresh and customers.
  • Prosperity: Ensure that any new lines are set up on the internal ERP system, bills of materials are created, and relevant departments are informed of any changes. Coordinate the weekly customer updates and communicate them to the business. Use customer portals to run forecasts and circulate internally. Help coordinate sample requests from customers and ensure they are delivered on time. Support any New Product Development (NPD) requests from customers. Carry out benchmarking on a regular basis and ensure the information is recorded and communicated. Support the Head of Department and Account Manager in achieving the annual sales forecast and feed into annual budget planning based on the knowledge gained from day-to-day dealings with accounts. Support annual account reviews and work with the Head of Department and Account Manager to help develop plans for growth based on knowledge gained from day-to-day account management.
