Known locally for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent accommodation offer, the business attracts a loyal customer base alongside visitors travelling for business, Durham University events, and Durham CCC matches and concerts.

We're looking for an operator with strong food experience, imagination and community engagement skills to build on the pub's excellent reputation.

The business offers a straightforward operation with a manageable staffing requirement, featuring a cosy front bar, a separate darts and dining room, five letting rooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

There is excellent potential to develop a high-quality 30-cover food offer with your own menu, alongside breakfast service for residents.

Currently generating around £6,000 per week, with a split of 85% wet sales and 15% accommodation, the Gilesgate Moor Hotel offers significant growth potential across all income streams.

With an anticipated sales uplift of £2,000 per week, this is a great opportunity to take an established and respected business to the next level.
