Kite is seeking a Finance Manager whose primary responsibilities will include supporting our ACE Region team (Australia, Canada, Europe). Responsibilities involve day-to-day support of Kite ACE Finance activities, partnering with Kite colleagues internationally, driving budget and forecasting processes, regional revenue and OPEX consolidation, and maintaining the planning system (SAP) for actuals reporting and forecasting/budgeting. The position is based in the regional office in Stockley Park and reports to the Senior Finance Director, ACE Region.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day leadership and management of Kite ACE Finance activities, including collaboration with another team member.
- Strategic business partner lead for Midsize Markets sub-region for Kite ACE region, involving coordination with the Midsize Markets Commercial Team, ACE7 Finance team, and regional leadership.
- Provide business partnering, performance, and forecasting support to Kite ACE Cross-Functional Team regarding regional budgets and planning processes.
- Perform Revenue and OPEX Consolidation, working with local affiliates and the Global FP&A team to ensure alignment and clarity, engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and coordinating Financial Budgets (OPEX, headcount) for Kite teams in local affiliates and Stockley Park, in partnership with functional leads and local Finance teams.
- Support accounting close processes by analyzing variances and ensuring accurate financial reporting, working with accounting on monthly close and accruals.
- Provide SAP Implementation finance support for Kite ACE.
- Build, consolidate, and publish summaries for revenue and OPEX actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
- Lead ownership of ad-hoc projects and cross-functional workstreams.
- Identify and develop process improvements for financial reporting and analysis.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Strategic mindset with an interest in business partnering and a proactive approach.
- Relevant experience with a BA or BS in Business/Accounting or professional accounting qualifications (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Experience with revenue & OPEX recognition and understanding revenue recognition principles is desirable.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and PowerPoint with Think-Cell.
- Proficiency in finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, OBIEE.
- Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to change.
- Strong teamwork skills, with experience working across geographies and functions.
- Experience in high-growth, multinational organizations is a plus.
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
