Overview
In this role you drive sustainable patient access and growth for Gilead therapies across GPS markets. You’ll lead cross-functional teams and partnerships to expand access in resource-limited settings, shaping strategic initiatives and launches for HIV, HBV, and HCV products and future assets. You’ll collaborate with internal functions and external partners to deliver measurable impact and ensure long-term commercial sustainability. This is a mission-driven opportunity to scale access and strengthen Gilead’s global health footprint.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to drive patient access and business growth across GPS markets.
- Translate strategy into measurable results and manage complex operating environments.
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Coordinate with global functions to align initiatives affecting performance, patient outcomes, and reputation.
- Oversee distributor strategy, governance, launch readiness, and performance to maximise market impact.
- Represent Gilead to governments, NGOs, multilateral organizations, and partners; support strategic communications.
- Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct and regulatory requirements.

- Demonstrated success delivering large, multi-function programs across regions and stakeholders.
- Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams; Talent development focus.
- Track record transforming organizations through processes, systems, and metrics.
- Extensive pharmaceutical/biotech experience including distributor management and regional/global leadership.
- Ability to set a strategic vision and influence stakeholders across boundaries.
- Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across commercial, supply chain, regulatory, market access, medical, and marketing.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 60%.
