Overview
As Executive Director, Clinical Development, you lead cell therapy programs in multiple myeloma, shaping development strategy and regulatory collaborations.
You’ll guide the design, execution and reporting of trials, work with cross-functional teams, and represent products to health authorities.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of clinical development plans, regulatory documents, and external partnerships.

Responsibilities
- Oversee design, conduct, evaluation and closure of clinical trials within the portfolio
- Lead development and execution of the Clinical Development Plan and Target Product Profile
- Direct cross-functional development strategy and governance for assigned products
- Lead protocol design, study reporting, and medical monitoring for trials
- Communicate with health authorities, prepare regulatory documents, and support publications and presentations
- Develop external relationships and evaluate business development opportunities
- Mentor and manage a team of direct reports
- Ensure adherence to GCP, ICH, and internal SOPs
- Prepare data listings and summaries for internal reviews and scientific communications
- Key requirements
- MD/DO with relevant years in clinical development or biopharma
- Board certification in hematology and/or medical oncology preferred
- Experience in phase 2-3 late development and in multiple myeloma/cellular therapy preferred
- Strong track record in leading complex, cross-functional drug development strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel when needed
- Experience interacting with executives and managing budgets (preferred)
